in progress...

a great year for me!!! i think my art style developed nicely and i put out a lot of stuff i'm still happy with. though my depression and loneliness was hitting me hard throughout the first bit of the year, i was drawing a lot of intimate stuff lol. this was also the year i finally flew out of the country on my own for the first time!! twice actually, i went to vegas in july for EVO and to arizona in october to visit my best friend. it was scary, but a ton of fun! i'm eternally thankful to all my friends who encouraged me to try something new :') i hope to travel more in the future!

this year i really got the hang of using drawpile seriously, and experimenting with colours and rendering! lots of fun dynamic stuff too, i feel like my art became a lot more genuine. not much else to say though, i honestly don't remember anything that actually happened this year LOL. i think i quit my job sometime in the spring/summer? whatever.

oof. i was definitely employed throughout 90% of this year so it's insane to me now the sheer amount of art i produced... though i guess the majority of stuff from this time was just silly stress-relief drawings? the beginning of this year i was still using csp, so i think this was when i realized that that program just felt too serious to me. like i just wanted to doodle dumb shit. and that's exactly what i did! a lot of nonsensical funny art/meme redraws.

2021 i was still in the clip studio mines. this is also when i first got into guilty gear!!! it found me at a weird, depressive and uncertain point in my life, so my art style was just completely inconsistent. but i was an anji mito fan at the beginning lol, so i've got a bit of art of him from this time.
then the robovenom disease got me...
during this time i had like. a stupid office job where i did nothing so there's a few phone doodles?? i was definitely still figuring out how to draw these two... like i drew robo-ky thick as fuck for some reason LMFAO? but then i think about how every other man in strive has ginormous bulging muscles and it makes a little more sense.
